Terms of service

Last updated 17 August 2026 · Plain language, no legalese where we can help it.How we handle personal data is covered separately in our Privacy policy.

Service

Using the service

SanookPass provides Thai merchants with QR-code menus, online booking pages, prepaid online payments via Omise, and LINE-message notifications. To accept payments you must be a registered business in Thailand with a verified Omise account capable of accepting live payments and transferring funds to your bank account. You give us the right to display your menu, services, prices, photos, and booking availability to your customers through our widgets, your booking page, and (if you opt in) the SanookPass directory.

Login with LINE

To create an account you log in with LINE. By tapping Log in with LINE you confirm you have read our Privacy policy and agree to these Terms. We use the profile data LINE returns to create and operate your account; we never see your LINE password. You can revoke SanookPass's access to your LINE account at any time from LINE → Settings → Connected apps, and we will stop receiving profile data on next sign-in.

Money

Fees & payouts

SanookPass is free to join and has no monthly subscription. We earn by taking a small percentage of each successful transaction. Omise deducts its applicable processing fees and adds the remaining proceeds to your merchant-owned Omise balance, which you transfer according to Omise's holding and transfer schedule. Tourists always pay the price you list.

Example. For a 1,000 baht spa booking, a service fee of 8% (80 baht) is deducted and 920 baht is paid out. The 8% figure is an example only: the actual service fee can vary by business type, transaction volume, and country. The current fee for your account is shown in your dashboard and in the confirmation screen before you accept any payment.

Fee changes. We may change the service fee from time to time. If we increase the fee that applies to your account, we will give you at least 14 days' written notice by email and via your SanookPass dashboard before the new fee takes effect, and you can close your account and receive any outstanding payouts during that period. Fee decreases take effect immediately.

Cancellations, refunds & disputes

Cancellation windows

Merchants establish their own cancellation rules per service. If a customer cancels within the permitted window, the service payment is refunded. Platform fees will not be refunded — they are retained by SanookPass as the fee for processing the original transaction. Third-party processing fees (e.g. Omise fees) are also non-refundable and will be borne by the Merchant.

No-shows

If a customer fails to show up for a confirmed booking without cancelling within the designated window, the full payment (minus platform transaction fees) will be remitted to the Merchant.

Chargebacks and fraud

The Merchant is fully liable for chargebacks, fraudulent transactions, and bank payment disputes. In the event of a chargeback, the disputed amount and associated payment network dispute fees will be automatically deducted from the Merchant's current or future payouts. The Platform reserves the right to reverse platform fee credits on disputed transactions.

Conduct

Fair use

List only services you actually provide, at the price you actually charge. No misleading menus, no surcharging on top of the price shown in the widget, no selling of prohibited goods or services, nothing illegal under Thai law. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break this after contacting you on LINE first and giving you a reasonable chance to fix the issue.

Liability

SanookPass provides the booking, payment, and LINE-messaging rails. The service itself — the massage, the manicure, the cut and colour — is between you and your customer. trip — is between you and your customer. To the maximum extent permitted by Thai law, SanookPass is not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of either side's service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the service fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update this page to reflect product changes, legal requirements, or fee changes (subject to the 14-day notice above for fee increases). The "last updated" date at the top tells you when. For material changes — fee increases, new data uses, new third-party sharing — we email you at least 14 days in advance. Continuing to use SanookPass after the effective date counts as acceptance.
